Based Undeads operates fully on-chain raffle games. All transactions are irreversible once submitted to the blockchain. You may lose the ETH you spend on tickets. NFT prizes are created by third-party game creators whose claims about asset value are unverified and self-reported. Only participate in games you have independently researched. Do Your Own Research (DYOR) before purchasing any ticket.
By connecting your wallet, purchasing a ticket, creating a game, or interacting in any way with the Based Undeads smart contract or frontend interface, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not agree, do not use this platform.
These terms apply to all users globally, including ticket buyers, game creators, and observers. Use of this platform constitutes your electronic signature and agreement to these terms.
Based Undeads is a fully decentralized, on-chain raffle protocol deployed on the Base blockchain. It allows any wallet holder to create a raffle for any ERC721 NFT they own, and allows other wallet holders to purchase entry tickets priced at $1 USD worth of ETH each.
Based Undeads is not a lottery operator, financial institution, or regulated gambling service. It is a smart contract protocol. The smart contract code is immutable once deployed and executes automatically without human intervention.
The platform interface (this website) is a frontend only. It does not hold custody of your funds or NFTs at any time. All assets are held exclusively by the on-chain smart contract. The platform team does not control game outcomes, ticket sales, or fund distribution.
The following rules are enforced entirely by the smart contract and cannot be overridden by the platform team or game creators:
Important: Anyone can trigger the winner draw after a game ends — not just the creator. If the creator does not call drawWinner, any other participant or third party can do so. The contract does not require creator involvement to conclude a game.
Ticket prices are denominated in ETH and calculated at transaction time from the Chainlink price oracle. Due to ETH price volatility, the exact ETH amount may differ from previous estimates. The contract accepts payments within 1% of the precise price to account for price movement between quote and settlement.
The smart contract transfers the prize NFT directly to the winner's wallet address during the drawWinner transaction. No claim action is required from the winner.
Game creators are solely responsible for the NFTs they list, the descriptions they provide, and the accuracy of any value claims.
Buyer risk from creator behaviour: Because creators are paid before the game concludes, there is an inherent trust element. A creator whose NFT turns out to be worth less than stated suffers no on-chain consequence. Based Undeads does not screen creators or verify asset values. Participate only in games you have independently verified.
All ticket purchases are completely and permanently non-refundable.
Blockchain transactions are irreversible by design. Once your buyTickets transaction is confirmed, the ETH is split between the creator and the platform and cannot be recovered. This is true regardless of:

Prohibited use may result in being blocked from the frontend interface. However, the underlying smart contract is permissionless — the platform cannot prevent direct contract interaction.
Winner selection uses a combination of on-chain entropy sources including Ethereum RANDAO (block.prevrandao) and block hash data. This method is transparent and publicly verifiable on-chain.
This is not cryptographically perfect randomness. On Base mainnet, the sequencer has theoretical ability to influence block timing. For the low prize values typical of a $1 game, this attack is economically irrational. However:
Based Undeads does not guarantee that winner selection is perfectly unbiasable. By purchasing tickets you accept the randomness methodology as described. For high-value games, you should consider whether the prize value justifies the theoretical manipulation risk.
All ticket ranges, game parameters, and winner indices are publicly accessible on-chain. Any participant can independently verify the draw result.
Based Undeads collects a 10% platform fee from all ticket sales. This fee is deducted automatically by the smart contract during each ticket purchase. The fee is forwarded to the platform wallet immediately and is non-refundable.
The Based Undeads protocol runs on an immutable smart contract on Base mainnet. While the contract has been carefully designed, no smart contract is without risk.
"Do Your Own Research" is not a suggestion here — it is a requirement for responsible participation.
① The NFT contract address is legitimate and not a copy or impersonation of a real collection.
② The collection has genuine trading history on OpenSea, Blur, or another reputable marketplace.
③ The floor price or last sale price supports the creator's stated asset value.
④ The creator wallet has a legitimate history (not freshly created).
⑤ You are comfortable with the maximum loss being the total ETH spent on tickets ($1 per ticket + gas).
Based Undeads provides tools to view the NFT contract address and token ID for every game. You are responsible for independently verifying these details before purchasing. The platform does not verify, endorse, or recommend any specific game or NFT collection.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Based Undeads, its founders, operators, contributors, and associated entities shall not be liable for:
Your total maximum liability claim against Based Undeads shall not exceed the total ETH you paid in platform fees (10% of your ticket purchases) in the 30 days prior to your claim.
The Based Undeads platform and smart contract are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy of any information displayed on the platform including asset values, prize descriptions, or user-submitted content.
Participation in blockchain-based raffle or gaming activities may be restricted or prohibited in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for determining whether use of this platform is legal where you reside.
Based Undeads reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
The smart contract itself is immutable and cannot be changed. These terms govern the frontend interface and your relationship with the platform team — they do not alter the on-chain behaviour of the smart contract.
